I just heard about this yesterday from marcuswolf828 and kowaiyoukai.

Apparantly, Amazon has a new policy banning "adult" material from it's website. This is only an excuse for them to stop selling anything with GLBT involved, whether it's explicit or not. They are still selling books and such with explicit sex, as long as it's heterosexual.

Even if you type in the exact name of a GLBT book, it will not show up for sale, although they do own it. If you search "homosexuality", you will get help books about how you don't have to be gay and such.

This is a horrible insult to the GLBT community. I'm sure many, if not all, of you have heard about it already. Still, just thought I'd spread the word even more.

My cat, Ebony, died yesterday, on March 27th, 2009, at about 5 p.m.

We had to put her to sleep. The vet said she had a seizure or something, and we could do a lot of expensive tests but there was no guarantee that she would be okay. We didn't have the money, and the vet also said that just based on her vitals, she might die before the day was sone anyway.

So, it was really horrible and hard, but everyone thinks we did the right thing, and I hope they're right. She was 16 years old and lived a long and happy life. She's not suffering anymore. Hopefully she's up in heaven with Castiel!

I feel really bad for my nee-chan, who loved Ebony maybe more than me! >.<;;
